Step it up?

Amy's skills have not always been, well, well defined. But usually she seems to be less skilled as other characters, despite the capacity and the adventures she's embarked on. So, do you think her skills should be brought up to a higher standard, or stay at a lower point?

If they were much lower, she would not be needed. If they were much higher, she would overpower Sonic. What she really needs is the ability to do more stuff. For example, since she has the ability to conjure up hammers out of nowhere, perhaps she should do more of that and less of kicking and screaming, and using her Tarot cards.

I think a game about her would be interesting. They could develop her more, and give her more characteristics than 'that pink hedgehog who likes Sonic and has a hammer."
