Trapped in Time Empty Trapped in Time

A suggestion that has gone around now and again. In an attempt to keep Silver and his time traveling business to a minimum, some have suggested keeping him bound to Sonic's time, allowing him to be mainstream and not confuse the timeline. Not a bad idea, one can assume, but do you think so? And if so, how would you do it and why?

I'm not sure if it would be good enough. I have not played Sonic 06, so therefore I know nothing about Silver. I know many people that like him, and many people that hate him, though.
